Nancy Peace is a past-president the Association for Conflict Resolution. She served as past board member of the Labor and Employment Research Association, of which she became an elected Fellow in 2010. She has received the Pioneer Award for Contributions and Commitment to the ADR Community from the Society of Professionals in Dispute Resolution, New England and the Cushing-Gavin Award for excellence in Labor-Management Relations from the Labor Guild. In 2008, Gov. Patrick appointed Ms. Peace to the MA Division of Labor Advisory Committee; President-Elect Obama then appointed her to the Presidential Transition Team.
Amanda Achin – Administrative Assistant & Website Manager, Edward J. Collins, Jr. Center for Public Management
Amanda joined the staff of the Edward J. Collins, Jr. Center in the spring of 2013, supporting the center’s general operations and overseeing the MEP’s online properties. Amanda is currently an undergraduate student at the University of Massachusetts Boston where she is pursuing her bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in history.
Luke Kupscznk – Editorial Assistant, Massachusetts Education Partnership
Luke Kupscznk is a doctoral student in Public Policy at the University of Massachusetts McCormack School of Policy and Global Studies. Prior to his doctoral work, Luke worked in Orlando, Florida as a teacher and forensics program director at Winter Springs High School and debate coach at Rollins College. His research concerns education reform, particularly around issues of racial equality, standardization, and youth activism. Luke began work at the MEP in June 2013 as a graduate assistant conducting evaluative and academic study on the impacts of interest-based bargaining on labor-management relations, school contracts, and student achievement.
